Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst, Digital Marketing based in India.

As a Senior Analyst – Digital Marketing, you will play a key role in driving the performance and efficiency of large-scale paid search campaigns, with a strong focus on Google Ads and broader SEM channels. You will leverage data-driven insights to optimize acquisition strategies, improve ROI, and support profitable business growth. The role involves deep experimentation across campaigns, landing pages, and bidding strategies to continuously enhance performance. You will work in a fast-paced, analytics-heavy environment where decisions are grounded in data and experimentation. Collaboration will be central, as you partner with cross-functional teams including product, analytics, content, and engineering. This position offers the opportunity to influence high-impact marketing strategies at scale while working with advanced digital marketing tools and datasets. It is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex performance challenges and turning insights into measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and execute strategic initiatives focused on scaling and optimizing paid search (SEM) campaigns across Google Ads and related platforms, ensuring performance targets are consistently met.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword, audience, and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and improve campaign efficiency.
  • Design, run, and analyze experiments across ads, landing pages, pricing, and product flows to improve conversion rates and ROI.
  • Manage bidding strategies, budgets, and spend allocation while ensuring alignment with ROAS and broader marketing objectives.
  • Analyze performance data using tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Excel, SQL, and PowerBI to generate actionable insights and reporting.
  • Monitor campaign trends, diagnose performance issues, and continuously optimize based on data-driven insights and segmentation techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Engineering, Analytics, Content) to support integrated growth initiatives and experimentation efforts.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
    • 6–10 years of experience in digital marketing or performance marketing, with strong hands-on SEM expertise.
    • Proven experience managing and optimizing campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GDN, YouTube, or Facebook Ads.
    • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFs, reporting and analysis functions).
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret PPC data, identify trends, and apply segmentation and prioritization frameworks (e.g., 80/20 principle).
    • Hands-on experience with SQL is highly desirable for data extraction and campaign analysis.
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics, tagging tools, and marketing technology ecosystems.
    • Understanding of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus for effective collaboration with technical teams.
    • Exposure to automation, scripting, or LLM-based tools for marketing optimization is a strong advantage.
    • Strong ownership mindset, results orientation, and ability to work in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
