Performance Marketing Specialist

Jobgether · India

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of growth strategy, data, and performance marketing, with a strong focus on scaling acquisition through Google’s ecosystem. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end paid acquisition performance across app and web funnels, with a deep emphasis on structure, measurement, and economic efficiency. The position requires someone who can think beyond campaign execution and operate at a systems level, connecting marketing activity to business outcomes. You will design scalable acquisition frameworks, improve signal quality across tracking infrastructure, and ensure campaigns are optimized for long-term profitability. Working closely with data, engineering, and growth stakeholders, you will help shape how performance marketing is measured and governed. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment where precision, experimentation, and strategic thinking directly influence growth outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Performance Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
Own and optimize Google acquisition campaigns across Search, App Campaigns, and Performance Max. Design scalable campaign structures, manage bidding strategies, and continuously refine audience segmentation, creative testing, and budget allocation to improve acquisition efficiency and growth quality.
  • Tracking, Measurement & Attribution
Build and maintain a robust measurement ecosystem including GA4, Firebase, Google Tag Manager, and conversion APIs. Ensure tracking integrity, improve signal quality, and evaluate attribution models to ensure accurate performance decision-making across channels.
  • Growth Economics & LTV/CAC Optimization
Develop and manage LTV/CAC models, define acquisition targets, and optimize spend based on payback periods and cohort performance. Translate business economics into actionable bidding and budget strategies aligned with long-term profitability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Governance
Partner with data, product, and engineering teams to ensure reliable data flows and accurate reporting. Establish performance governance frameworks, reporting cadences, and decision-making dashboards that support clear, data-driven growth decisions.
  • Compliance & Market Adaptation
Adapt acquisition strategies to fintech and regulated advertising environments, ensuring compliance with platform policies while optimizing performance in emerging market conditions such as variable connectivity, trust barriers, and diverse user behaviors.
  • Requirements:

    • 6+ years of experience in paid acquisition or performance marketing, with strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads (Search, App Campaigns, Performance Max) at scale.
    • Strong technical understanding of bidding systems, campaign structures, audience signals, and Smart Bidding mechanics.
    • Proven experience building and maintaining analytics and tracking systems (GA4, Firebase, GTM, conversion APIs, enhanced conversions).
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including LTV/CAC, payback period modeling, and cohort-based performance analysis.
    • Experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries with complex acquisition and compliance requirements.
    • Strong ability to collaborate with technical teams (data, engineering, analytics) to implement tracking and improve data quality.
    • Experience in emerging markets or high-growth environments is a strong advantage.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary aligned with experience and market benchmarks
      • Performance-based incentives or bonus structure (where applicable)
      • Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid depending on team setup)
      • Health and wellness benefits (as per partner company policy)
      • Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact growth systems
      • Exposure to advanced performance marketing infrastructure and data-driven decision-making

      • Learning and development opportunities in growth, analytics, and marketing technology.
