Associate Product Marketing Manager
Who we are:
Field Nation brings companies and service professionals together through an integrated, easy-to-use platform. We support businesses looking to grow their service offerings while also empowering technicians to leverage their skills on their own terms. Our mission is to help the service delivery industry do great work, and we live that mission by doing great work for the companies and service professionals who depend on us.
Why is this role important to Field Nation?
Product Marketing Managers are the glue that binds our product strategy to our business strategy in order to drive success and achieve results. They are product evangelists and customer experts, and play an integral role in supporting product launches – from internal readiness to external rollout to ongoing optimization. As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you’ll provide support for the broader Product Marketing team and the Tier 1-3 launches (e.g. larger launches) they’re responsible for while also owning some Tier 4-5 launches (e.g. smaller launches) and smaller customer communication projects independently.
What you'll get to do:
-
Partner with the broader Product and Product Marketing teams on larger Tier 1-3 feature launches, providing executional support that could include content development (e.g. Help Center content, customer-facing slides, 1-pagers, email copy and), internal training for our Customer Experience and Support teams, and more.
-
Plan, scope, and execute Tier 4-5 feature launches, partnering with cross-functional initiative stakeholders like Product Managers, Provider Experience, and Support to determine release scope and timelines before developing the internal and external deliverables needed to support the launch. These deliverables could include a launch plan, communications plan email and/or website copy, customer-facing slides, Help Center content and more.
-
Work with the Product Marketing team to contribute to the monthly product release notes for buyers and providers, ensuring we have current information in the monthly email newsletters, on the release notes webpage, and also a corresponding blog post that captures more details and supporting images about each release.
-
Monitor post-launch adoption metrics (e.g. feature usage) or user actions when action is needed (e.g. providers who need to update their Field Nation app version).
You might be a good fit if you have:
-
3-5+ years of experience in technical writing, content strategy, product documentation, or customer education, ideally within a B2B SaaS company.
-
Exceptional written and spoken English, with experience writing and editing plus the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise, and compelling content.
-
Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
-
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and work across multiple teams.
-
Self-starter energy that doesn’t wait to be told what to do. Ability to operate autonomously and problem-solve independently.
