This is a high-impact communications role focused on building visibility and authority for leading B2B brands in tech and SaaS through strategic media relations and data-driven storytelling. You will develop and execute creative PR campaigns that turn insights, proprietary data, and industry trends into compelling narratives that earn meaningful press coverage. The role sits at the intersection of content marketing, journalism outreach, and growth strategy, requiring both creativity and analytical thinking. You will collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to shape stories, build media lists, and pitch ideas to top-tier journalists, bloggers, and trade publications. A strong understanding of the B2B media landscape and how earned media influences brand visibility and SEO is essential. This is a remote-first role within a fast-paced, collaborative environment where initiative, independence, and curiosity are highly valued. Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing B2B PR strategies that generate high-quality media coverage and strengthen brand authority across tech and SaaS industries.
- Develop and pitch creative story ideas based on proprietary data, trends, and client insights to secure media coverage in tech, SaaS, and B2B publications.
- Build and manage targeted media lists across trade publications, industry outlets, and national press relevant to each client.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to create data-driven reports, surveys, and insights that can be transformed into newsworthy stories.
- Proactively monitor industry news and trends to identify timely pitching opportunities and emerging story angles.
- Craft compelling pitches and strong opening hooks to engage journalists, editors, and bloggers effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with media professionals across the tech, SaaS, and B2B landscape.
- Conduct thorough research, including source validation and data gathering, to ensure accuracy and relevance in all PR materials.
Requirements
This role requires a PR professional with strong media relations experience, excellent writing skills, and a proven ability to secure coverage in competitive B2B and tech environments.
- 3–5 years of agency experience in public relations, ideally supporting B2B, SaaS, or technology clients.
- Proven track record of securing media coverage in tech, SaaS, or related industries.
- Experience developing data-driven stories, including running surveys and translating findings into compelling pitches.
- Strong written communication skills with near-perfect grammar, editing ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the B2B media landscape and basic understanding of SEO and earned media impact is a plus.
