The team focuses on Shorts growth surfaces and features along four primary dimensions: we aim to make it easy and seamless to get entertainment and information throughout the day. Encourage more active participation on the platform by making it easier to comment, like, subscribe, remix etc. and inspire viewers to become creators on the platform
In addition, we work on improving and scaling Shorts front-end serving to support our roadmap as well as that of our many partner teams and an exciting new initiative to leverage ML to personalize the Shorts watch page user interface (UI).
