This is a senior, architecture-driven engineering role focused on building scalable web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and modern frontend ecosystems. You will operate as a lead-level engineer, responsible for defining technical direction, system architecture, and engineering standards across multiple platforms. The role is deeply AI-first, leveraging modern agentic tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining full ownership of quality, performance, and maintainability. You will transform ambiguous product requirements into robust, production-ready solutions in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. The position requires strong system thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders. Accountabilities:
- Design, own, and evolve frontend and mobile architecture across React, React Native, and Next.js applications.
- Define scalable engineering patterns and technical direction for web and mobile platforms using TypeScript and GraphQL.
- Make independent architecture decisions focused on performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Build and maintain production-grade applications across web and mobile environments.
- Establish and enforce engineering quality standards across code, testing, UX, and developer experience.
- Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear, scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements.
- Integrate AI-first development workflows using tools such as Cursor, Claude, and similar platforms.
- Contribute to system design, performance optimization, and engineering productivity initiatives.
- Support React Native integrations with basic understanding of native mobile concepts (Kotlin/Java, Swift/Objective-C).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in React, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience working with GraphQL APIs and frontend integration patterns.
- Proven ability to design and own software architecture in production environments.
- Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience working with AI-assisted or agentic development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of native mobile development concepts (Kotlin/Java, Swift/Objective-C).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong references and ability to pass background verification.
