SUMMARY:

The Associate Project Manager is an entry level role within Snowflake's Services Delivery organization, designed for professionals developing foundational expertise in project management and customer engagement. Operating under guidance, the Associate Project Manager supports the management of advisory, T&M and Fixed Fee engagements while learning SD methodologies, assisting with SOW and Change Order preparation, and contributing to engagement reporting and customer coordination, all in alignment with Snowflake's Delivery Framework. Acts as a supporting point of contact for project management activities across assigned projects and workstreams by coordinating activities, maintaining delivery visibility, working closely with Services Solution Managers, Project/Program Manager or Services Delivery team leadership to help achieve engagement objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop knowledge on the delivery aspects of a Snowflake Implementation.

  • Learn and apply Services Delivery framework, processes, tools, governance standards and operational processes with guidance.

  • Assists in preparing and gathering data for weekly or periodic summary Services Delivery engagement reporting.

  • Support end to end delivery coordination for low complexity projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

  • Coordinate project planning activities, including schedule development, milestone tracking, dependency management, maintain project plans, RAID logs and status reporting.

  • Proactive, early identification of risks and timely identification and mitigation.

  • Develop a foundational knowledge of Snowflake's cloud data platform capabilities.

  • Gain familiarity with technical delivery approaches, project governance and processes.

  • Coordinate with the account team on specific customer tasks under guidance.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of Services Delivery and project management best practices.

  • Adoption of AI to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Assists in tracking and coordinating basic technical issues.

  • Demonstrate increasing autonomy in project execution while leveraging guidance from senior project management and delivery leadership.

  • Demonstrate increasing project management capabilities, including organization, stakeholder communication, prioritization, execution discipline and customer focus.

Exhibit Increasing Project Management Capabilities:

  • Assist in preparing customer facing materials including engagement kick off, status reports, project updates and meeting recaps.

  • Respond to basic customer inquiries and escalate more complex needs and requirements to senior team members.(e.g. Project status updates, meeting coordination, timelines, action item follow up)

  • Help gather and document customer feedback for review.

  • Provide support for project scoping and planning documentation.

  • Assist in tracking identified risks, dependencies, decisions and action items; follow up to ensure visibility and resolution progress.

  • Escalate customer or engagement issues or blockers promptly to the Services Solutions Manager ,Project/Program manager or Project/Technical Delivery Managers.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; nice to have a Master's degree.

  • Experience in a client facing or technical support role.

  • Some exposure to or interest in the AI/ML, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and/or Cloud field.

  • Experience managing tasks across multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and follow-through skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfort working across multiple projects, stakeholders, teams, and tools

  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies or enterprise software is a plus

  • Knowledge of project management frameworks (SCRUM, PMBOK)
