Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Champion World-Class Manufacturing Systems: Implement and sustain the BDPS (Business Deployment Production System) work processes across the manufacturing unit
  • Become a Technical Expert: Identify critical equipment settings and create robust standards
  • Build & Share Knowledge: Develop comprehensive technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and actively transfer this expertise to operators and technical associates through hands-on training and mentorship
  • Coach & Inspire Teams: Guide associates in continuous improvement methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving within the manufacturing unit
  • Eliminate Losses & Boost Performance: Analyze and understand the top losses impacting the manufacturing unit, then develop and implement strategic plans to eliminate waste and drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) performance to new heights
  • Lead Change Management: Take ownership of manufacturing unit change control processes, including validation activities, conducting root cause analysis for prioritized OEE losses, and investigating quality events and deviations
  • Ensure Safety & Quality First: Maintain the highest standards of safety for all associates and ensure product quality meets or exceeds expectations
  • Drive Process Innovation: Ensure new manufacturing processes and process improvements align with and support Manufacturing Unit objectives
  • Optimize Equipment Performance: Monitor and ensure equipment runs efficiently and effectively, maximizing uptime and productivity
  • Analyze & Improve: Conduct thorough analysis of current equipment efficiency state to drive sustainable OEE improvements and long-term performance gains

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Two years medical manufacturing experience

  • Three years manufacturing experience
