Job Summary
The Senior Vice President of Residential Billing Strategy & Operations is the executive leader accountable for the performance, reliability, control environment, and modernization of the company’s end-to-end billing ecosystem. This environment processes tens of billions in annual revenue, supports millions of customers, and underpins financial integrity, digital experiences, and the company’s ability to compete and grow. This role shapes how commercial strategy, product innovation, and customer experience translate into realized revenue and financial outcomes.This leader plays a critical role in reimagining the customer experience by ensuring billing interactions are accurate, transparent, and seamlessly integrated across products, platforms, and channels. They enable smarter products that work better together by governing the operational frameworks that connect pricing, packaging, and platform capabilities into cohesive, scalable customer solutions.
The SVP ensures that enterprise pricing, promotional, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies are accurately delivered, highly governed, and operationally scalable across every billing platform and customer segment. They oversee the systems, data flows, operational processes, configuration quality, and revenue assurance programs that translate enterprise decisions into accurate, trusted customer bills, while advancing automation, data intelligence, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve precision, speed, and adaptability.

Job Description
Financial Performance & Revenue Integrity
- Safeguards billions in quarterly revenue through precise billing execution, data quality governance, and control rigor.
- Ensures accurate interpretation and delivery of pricing, promotional, and GTM strategies across all platforms.
- Reduces revenue leakage, defects, configuration errors, and operational inefficiencies.
- Improves margin and cost performance through simplification, automation, and continuous process improvement.
Customer Experience, Trust & Brand Confidence
- Ensures billing interactions - statements, digital experiences, mobile views -are intuitive, accurate, predictable, and easy to understand.
- Reduces billing-related contacts, friction, and churn drivers across customer segments.
- Leads issue prevention, rapid triage, cross-functional resolution, and customer-centered recovery.
- Strengthens transparency and consistency across the billing lifecycle, reinforcing brand trust.
Technology, Architecture & Data Quality
- Shapes and governs future-state billing architecture to be resilient, automated, secure, and scalable.
- Leads modernization, platform transformation, simplification, and instrumentation efforts.
- Owns data integrity, lineage, and control frameworks across revenue-critical systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and trust across billing, usage, payment, and configuration datasets.
- Drives analytics, KPI governance, and executive reporting that inform enterprise priorities and decision-making.
Operational Controls & Enterprise Risk Management
- Establishes robust operational controls, configuration standards, approval workflows, and quality gates.
- Ensures disciplined execution of all rate events, product launches, migration programs, and platform releases.
- Drives monitoring, alerting, exception management, and defect-prevention programs across the enterprise.
- Mitigates operational, financial, reputational, and customer-impact risks through comprehensive oversight.
Leadership Scope
- Leads a large, multi-disciplinary organization spanning billing operations, configuration management, revenue assurance, pricing enablement, data governance, analytics, testing, and operational controls.
- Accountable for safeguarding and accurately delivering billions in annual revenue through pricing execution, configuration, rating, and billing operations across Connectivity & Platforms, serving as the single point of ownership for reliable revenue delivery.
- Oversees one of the largest operational risk surfaces in the company and one of the most financially consequential enterprise functions.
- Manages programs that materially shape financial accuracy, customer trust, digital experience quality, and enterprise agility.
