Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

As a part of the Education team, your mission is to transform learning and teaching at scale. You will help K-12 and higher education institutions around the world bring the best of Google tools and technology to their organization, and make significant headway on this journey. With AI, the potential for technology to enhance education is greater than ever.

As a key member of the extended Education leadership team, you will help shape the cross-Google narrative for Google for Education (GfE). You will drive long-range planning, facilitate high-stakes investment trade-offs, align on and drive measurement, and lead a multi-year overarching strategy and orchestrate the strategic roadmap required to scale Google's impact to 1 billion students globally.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $222000 - $309000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • 3 years of experience managing or leading teams.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience gathering and analyzing data to uncover insights, with a proven ability to synthesize and simplify complex information into actionable strategies.
  • People management experience.
  • Track record of managing complex systems, cross-functional stakeholder groups, and change management initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with outstanding business judgment, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to represent business or technical concepts with executive leadership.
