The Role and Impact As a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Intel's products meet the highest quality and reliability standards. By owning the qualification of manufacturing ramps into high-volume production, you will directly contribute to delivering exceptional products that support Intel's technological leadership and customer satisfaction. Your contributions will drive continuous improvement across processes and systems, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Key Responsibilities - Oversee the qualification of manufacturing ramps into high-volume production to ensure product and process quality and reliability. - Specify inspection and testing mechanisms, conduct quality assessments, and audit processes to guarantee compliance with quality standards. - Develop and monitor health and performance indicators for product quality and reliability, driving cost optimization and manufacturing efficiency. - Represent the quality and reliability function in engineering forums, offering quality improvement recommendations. - Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and establish proactive quality programs in the factories. - Lead excursion management, including early detection, containment, and risk assessment of discrepancies, while implementing systems to mitigate future occurrences. - Manage change control and supplier audits while driving supplier continuous improvement efforts. - Synthesize structured and unstructured data using statistics and machine learning to make data-driven decisions on product and system dispositions. - Respond to customer-reported manufacturing issues, providing engineering solutions to address concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field. - 0-1+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree or 0 years with a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent. - Experience in cross-functional teams projects. - Proven ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. - Demonstrated execution of complex manufacturing ramps or projects. - Passion for innovation and delivering impactful results. Preferred Qualifications - Track record of fostering a collaborative and continuously improving quality culture. - Proficiency in reliability fundamentals, statistics, and modeling and measurement techniques. - Technical expertise in failure mode analysis and group problem-solving methodologies. - Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and reliability verification methods. - Skilled in data analysis, machine learning applications, and risk assessment processes.
