Sr. Strategic Planning and Operations Lead

Description:The Corporate Strategy team is responsible for developing critical, high‑profile strategic products such as the annual strategic plan, corporate ELT‑level strategy engagements, strategy‑plan derivative products, and various monthly engagements with BA/Corporate executives. This ultra‑high‑visibility position focuses primarily on Strategy Operations and Planning.

This position will leverage expertise, attitude and aptitude to quickly develop relationships across multi-functional org’s, BA S&BD (Business Area Strategy & Business Development) executive leaders and sister organizations to deliver strategy products while driving accountability through visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the development and execution of the annual Strategic Planning Conference and strategy-related Board of Directors meetings.
- Support the development and execution of key monthly strategy engagements with senior executives including Strategy Council, Strategy Advisory Team, and Strategy VP monthly meetings.
- Partner with other corporate functions to drive strategy-project outcomes and deliverables.
- Manage operational deliverables like weekly staff, corporate strategy budget, integrated strategic calendar and quarterly reviews.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to executive-level leaders (VP to C-suite).
- Thrive in a high-tempo, ambiguous environment that requires organization and executive presence to meet the needs of the LM Senior leaders.
- Lead the implementation of AI tools and processes into the Corporate Strategy workflow.

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree – Preferred focus on business or finance
• Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting executive level briefing material
• Experience in Strategy Development, Market Assessments or Strategic Planning
• Collaborative orientation with proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Extreme organization and attention to details
• Demonstrated ability to develop high quality, visually pleasing C-Suite level PowerPoint charts
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree – Preferred focus on business or finance
• Experience in management consulting
• Demonstrated understanding of the LM Portfolio through direct work experience across multiple functions/missions
• Proven ability to synthesize and distill complex ideas into understandable and actionable information
• Ability to manage concurrent efforts and provide exceptional high-quality products
• Experience leveraging internal and external AI tools to automate processes and develop executive level briefing material
• Project management experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
