Production Supervisor

. Production Planning & Execution

  • Monitor daily production activities against the production plan.
  • Handle day‑to‑day issues, make decisions to meet planned output, and coordinate with other departments (Quality, Stores, Planning, Maintenance).
  • Maintain daily production output and ensure compliance to work procedures, BOMs, routing, and technical drawings.
     

2. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

  • Support line troubleshooting for assembly, machining, or fabrication processes.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (8D/Corrective Action) and implement process improvements.
     

3. Technical Support & Process Development

  • Identify, design, and validate jigs and fixtures for assembly or machining processes.
  • Develop or refine manufacturing processes for improved efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Prepare PFMEA, process flow, work instructions, and control plans as needed.
     

4. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, QMS procedures, and internal quality requirements.
  • Inspect parts and ensure process capability and adherence to design specifications (BOM, Routings).
     

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all EHS guidelines; ensure safety of equipment, operators, and process environments.
  • Promote 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Understanding of industrial safety standards and environmental regulations.
     

6. ERP / SAP Responsibilities

  • Complete necessary ERP (SAP) tasks including BOM updates, routing, production booking, and inventory checks.
  • Maintain documentation, material master data, and support leak analysis.
