We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Tech Central (IT) team in Business Enablement Solutions (BES) to deliver critical technology projects and programs.
As a key member of the Tech Central project management team, you will manage and oversee multiple concurrent technology projects, ensuring successful delivery, adoption, and realization of business benefits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced project management skills, leadership capabilities, and stakeholder management expertise, capable of motivating diverse teams and managing complex change programs within PwC.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the full lifecycle delivery of technology projects within the IT Programme of Work with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project and program plans, including resource allocation, risk registers, issue logs, and dependency management.
Coordinate and influence cross-functional internal teams and external vendors / suppliers to achieve project objectives.
Monitor project performance, identify and manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation and contingency plans.
Facilitate effective governance through regular status reporting, steering committee presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
Champion change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of technology solutions and minimize disruption.
Provide leadership and direct supervision to project teams, including mentoring and coaching junior project managers and team members.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with PwC’s policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Manage stakeholder relationships to align project outcomes with business objectives and priorities.
Support resource planning and capacity management within the project management function.
Lead service improvement initiatives and contribute to the strategic development of Tech Central.
Any other related duties or activities that fall within the remit of the Project Management Team.
Education / Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is advantageous.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2 Practitioner, or equivalent project management certification is beneficial.
Additional change management qualification is beneficial.
Experience Required:
Minimum 7+ years’ experience managing delivery of complex technology projects or programs.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a large corporate or consulting environment.
Experience leading and developing project teams, including coaching and performance management.
Proficient in project management tools and techniques with strong governance and reporting skills.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing vendor relationships and third-party contracts.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and technology adoption best practices.
