As a Junior Order Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders across Europe within our Laboratory Products Division. Working closely with customers, Sales, Warehouse, and other internal stakeholders, you will support the full order lifecycle, from order entry and modifications to issue resolution and customer communication.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment, solving problems, improving processes, and collaborating across teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Manage customer orders, including order entry, modifications, cancellations, and updates.

  • Handle customer enquiries and provide timely support regarding orders, deliveries, and order-related issues.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, and other stakeholders to resolve customer requests and ensure smooth order fulfilment.

  • Maintain accurate customer and order information across multiple systems.

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding requests and order-related issues to ensure timely resolution.

  • Work with SAP, Salesforce, Genesys, and Microsoft Office tools to support daily operations.

  • Support reporting and administrative activities while maintaining high levels of data accuracy.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and operational excellence activities.

  • Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience.

  • Support the team in delivering operational targets and maintaining excellent service levels.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2/C1 level).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, customer support, order management, customer operations, or a similar customer-facing environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, improve processes, and take ownership of tasks.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Genesys, or similar ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.

  • German language skills are considered an advantage but are not required.

We also welcome candidates with transferable experience from hospitality, travel, retail, administration, or other customer-facing environments who can demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and learning agility.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, candidates with relevant experience and a proven track record will also be considered.
