We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional to join our Strategic Operations team for the Retail business within the CASA region (Central & South America). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable solutions, and working in fast-paced environments where they can make a measurable impact. As a Strategic Operations Coordinator, you will help shape strategy and optimize operations across the region. You will partner closely with Commercial, Catalog, Marketplace, and Central Operations teams to design and execute high-impact initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to improving the experience for consumers, merchants, and delivery partners while making our platform more efficient and reliable. ## What the Candidate Will Do - Identify, scope, and lead high-impact initiatives that improve marketplace reliability, enhance the customer experience, and support business growth - Identify opportunities to elevate the platform experience for consumers, merchants, and delivery partners, and help drive execution against those opportunities - Manage projects end-to-end, from ideation and planning through execution, measurement, and post-launch analysis - Analyze large datasets to uncover insights, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making - Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Finance, Support, and other partner teams to translate insights into meaningful actions ## Basic Qualifications - 0–2 years of experience in operations, strategy, project management, program management, consulting, or related business functions - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint - Advanced SQL skills - Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a variety of audiences, including senior stakeholders - Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills, with a data-informed approach to decision-making - Professional fluency in English ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with marketplace platforms, e-commerce, or on-demand service environments is a plus - Ability to navigate fast-paced and evolving environments with adaptability and resilience - Demonstrated success solving complex problems and developing scalable, innovative solutions - Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring teams together to drive execution - Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines effectively - Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail - Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities and ambiguity - Familiarity with AI tools and their application to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
