Job Description
Team Summary:
Do you want to work on thumb-stopping social content and original campaign creative? Do you like the idea of working with music celebrities and athletes from FIFA, Olympics and Formula 1? AND would you like to do all that for one of the world’s most recognizable brands and our fortune 500 clients?
Introducing The Studio, Visa Design and Creative Services – an expanding in-house creative agency set up to support Visa’s, clients and partners in the Asia Pacific region, and to drive revenue growth for Visa. You will not only develop exciting creative strategies and campaigns for our clients and partners across the various markets in Asia Pacific but also create high visibility creative for Visa’s core brand and sponsorships.
If you have always wanted a hybrid client-agency life, here is the perfect opportunity.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive, and solutions‑oriented Project Manager to help shape and scale the Visa Design and Creative Studio in Asia Pacific. This role will lead the orchestration of creative and design projects from brief through to delivery, working closely with campaign managers, marketing teams, designers, copywriters, external partners, and senior stakeholders across the region.
This is a newly created role within a growing studio. As such, the successful candidate should expect ambiguity — and see it as an opportunity. You will play a critical role in shaping how creative work is planned, resourced, produced, and delivered, influencing the operating model as the studio continues to scale.
In addition to delivery excellence, this role is expected to monitor creative services revenue targets, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, sustainably, and with impact.
Why this role matters:
The Studio sits within the Visa Asia Pacific Marketing organisation and is responsible for delivering high‑quality creative services across Visa‑led and client‑led work. The studio is in an early stage of regional expansion, and this role will be integral in helping establish the foundations, processes, and ways of working required to scale responsibly.
This is not a “run‑the‑machine” role. It is a build‑the‑machine role.
Key Responsibilities & Scope:
You will be responsible for end‑to‑end orchestration and delivery, spanning people, process, partners, and budgets. This includes:
- External resource management
Manage freelancers, agencies, production houses, and specialist vendors across design, copy, motion, video, and production. - Internal creative resource management
Plan and coordinate effort across designers, copywriters, and creative leads to ensure capacity, capability, and timelines are aligned. - End‑to‑end delivery orchestration
Own project flow from briefing, scoping, resourcing, and scheduling through to delivery, approvals, and post‑delivery wrap‑up. - Resource and budget tracking
Track budgets, burn, and resourcing at a project and programme level, ensuring transparency and alignment to agreed scopes and revenue targets. - Regional and multi‑market coordination
Manage projects that require regional roll‑out, including localisation, translations, transcreation, and market‑specific adaptations across Asia Pacific. - Stakeholder management
Partner closely with marketing leads, product teams, agencies, and senior stakeholders — confidently managing expectations, risks, and dependencies. - Navigating ambiguity
Operate comfortably in an evolving environment, making sound judgement calls where processes are still being defined, and proactively proposing improvements.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a creative, marketing, or agency environment, preferably within a global or regional network.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
- Strong background working with both internal creative teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, regional organisation.
- Highly organised, proactive, and systematic, with strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Creative, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of creative and production workflows across digital, print, video, and integrated campaigns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and ways of working.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
- Familiarity with creative tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Exposure to generative AI tools for project management, production, or workflow optimisation is highly regarded.
- PMP, Agile, or similar certification is an advantage, but not required.
We are looking for someone with a start‑up mindset within a matrixed enterprise — someone who:
- Is comfortable building processes, not just following them
- Sees ambiguity as an opportunity to influence and shape
- Thinks in systems, workflows, and scalable solutions
- Balances structure with flexibility in creative environments
- This role will help define how creative production is run within The Studio — from intake to delivery.
