Wizards of the Coast products are sold around the world, and meeting global regulatory requirements is critical to how we bring them to market. The Global Regulatory & Compliance Specialist helps ensure our products are safe, compliant, and market‑ready without slowing creativity or innovation.
This Quality Team role will partner closely with Operations, Innovation, Product Development, Legal, Ethical Sourcing, and Hasbro Global Regulatory teams to translate complex requirements into clear guidance on packaging, production, and labelling. You will support regulatory compliance throughout product lifecycle and help reduce risk through strong systems and documentation.
What You'll Do:
- Support global regulatory compliance for Wizards products across domestic and international markets, focused heavily on North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Manage and review regulatory documentation, including Certificates of Compliance and Declarations of Conformity.
- Confirm and approve regulatory labeling to ensure accuracy, completeness, and market readiness.
- Monitor global regulatory changes and support impact assessments, implementation planning, and internal communication.
- Partner with various teams to embed regulatory requirements early in development.
- Support supplier compliance by reviewing test reports, Bills of Materials/Substances, and safety documentation.
- Support ESG standards and monitoring for suppliers.
- Contribute to regulatory and compliance processes within the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Help maintain SOPs, templates, and tools that enable consistent, audit‑ready execution.
- Communicate requirements clearly and pragmatically to internal teams and external partners.
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, product safety, or quality assurance for consumer products.
- Working knowledge of global product safety regulations, compliance documentation, and labeling requirements.
- Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams and global suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with TCG, toys, games, printed products, or children’s consumer goods.
- Familiarity with regulatory change management or regulatory monitoring programs.
- Exposure to chemical safety, restricted substances, or sustainability reporting.
- Experience working within a formal Quality Management System.
- Fluent (including reading and writing) in Japanese and/or Mandarin.
