Who You Are:

Are you a highly skilled Quality Engineer with experience in building, executing, and maintaining large, complex automated test suites? Does your track record show a history of consistent, high-quality software releases? Are you comfortable collaborating closely with development, operations, security, and other quality engineering teams to ship excellent software products and features? We're looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our growing team in India. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate in early analysis and requirements conversations to advocate for the testability of newly envisioned products and features in an automated fashion and “know what good looks like”.
  • Participate the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of scalable test automation frameworks using Python or similar languages.
  • Build and execute automated test suites for APIs, backend services, Web UI, Mobile Application UI, and blockchain-related components.
  • Drive quality across the SDLC by collaborating closely with developers, DevOps, product managers, and other business stakeholders.
  • Analyze test results, identify patterns or anomalies, and proactively suggest solutions and improvements.
  • Contribute to performance testing, security validation, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
  • Mentor and guide junior SDETs and QA engineers; set quality strategy and best practices across teams.
  • Champion defect management using JIRA, documentation via Confluence, and code collaboration via GitHub.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality metrics dashboards to inform stakeholders of product readiness.
  • Stay current with industry trends, especially within the fintech, crypto and blockchain space, and apply them to improve test practices.
  • Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automated testing with a focus on web-based applications, mobile applications, APIs of various protocols (REST, FIX, Websockets, etc.), and scheduled tasks (via CLI or other means).
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Ruby or JavaScript.
  • Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Bonus Points: 

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with security testing and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Familiar with Cryptocurrency
