The A&R operations manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the music company, including budgeting, scheduling, logistics, contracts, and vendor relations.The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

The operations manager will report to the senior operations manager and work closely with other departments, such as production, marketing, and finance

What you'll do:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the music company, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Coordinate and monitor the budget, timeline, and deliverables of various projects, campaigns and events, including but not limited to all invoicing related to the projects and responsible for all control waivers
  • Negotiate and maintain contracts and agreements with artists, venues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues or challenges.
  • Prepare and present reports and analysis on the operations performance and outcomes
  • Responsible for Budget control, working along with the A&R Associate Director
  • All invoicing related to the projects
  • Seek overage approvals from the department head in timely manner / advance
  • Support on specific special projects
  • Booking artists necessities and requests
  • Assist with creating product label copy
  • Responsible for control waivers or waivers control
  • Monitor and data analysis of distributed labels performance
  • Update on artist discovery tools and dashboard
  • Coordination in Publishing
  • Monitor 360/Atmos production flow
  • Assist with coordination of department meetings

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, music management, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in operations management, preferably in the music industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of music production, distribution, and licensing processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, multitask, and prioritize.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Passionate about music and the music industry.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
