Reports to: Ministry Leadership Team Assistant
Hours Commitment: 40 hours per week in office (Monday–Friday)
Objective: To serve as the operational heartbeat of LCBC’s Central Office, creating a warm, well-run environment for staff, guests, and visiting teams while providing broad administrative and hospitality support across the organization.
Warm, hospitable demeanor with a genuine love for people; skilled at making others feel welcomed and valued.
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
Proficiency with standard office equipment and computers, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and willingness to learn church management software.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and maintain absolute confidentiality.
Self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, and follow through on tasks without close supervision.
Experience with inventory management, supply ordering, or facilities coordination is a plus.
Experience leading or developing volunteers or building teams is a plus.
Volunteer Leadership & Development
Develop and lead volunteer teams that support Central Office functions.
Invest in volunteer growth through book studies, spiritual development opportunities, and leadership development experiences.
Front Desk & Hospitality
Ensure that all incoming phone calls and gathered information get directed to the appropriate person.
Champion and help create a warm, welcoming environment for guests, vendors, volunteers, and staff- offering drinks, opening doors, and making every guest feel genuinely cared for.
Oversee incoming/outgoing mail sorting and distribution.
Own the daily Prayer Update All Staff email process, gathering campus information and ensuring timely distribution Monday–Friday.
Oversee the info account email inbox, ensuring all inquiries are routed or addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate campus materials pick-up reminders to campus teams.
Lead the planning and execution of holiday door and delivery room signage.
Lead the way with a welcoming experience for new staff on their first day; partner with the Team Development & Resourcing team to serve as a frontline presence in welcoming new team members and ensuring a welcome flag is set up.
Oversee hospitality for visiting church teams, coordinating logistics and ensuring an excellent on-campus experience.
Office Operations & Supply Management
Ensure the workroom is consistently stocked and well-maintained, proactively managing reorder needs.
Own conference room readiness: ensure markers, tissues, and supplies are stocked, rooms are tidy and presentation ready.
Serve as the centralized point of contact for office supply ordering; connect with ministry departments regularly to anticipate and fulfill basic supply needs across the organization.
Oversee ordering and inventory management of letterhead, branded cards, and envelopes.
Manage mailboxes, including label materials and distribution processes.
Ensure postage needs are met for staff and coordinate ongoing postage machine upkeep.
Own monthly mail machine and copy machine logs.
Support the Accounting department with specific mailings; payables weekly and 90 Day Tithing Challenge; assist staff with various administrative projects as needed.
Oversee distribution of incoming packages and deliveries.
Kitchen & Facilities Care
Ensure kitchen areas are well-maintained and inviting — overseeing regular refrigerator cleanouts, supply restocking, and coffee machine upkeep.
Ensure that the reception area is consistently stocked with water, coffee, and mints for guests and staff.
Own the overall cleanliness, organization, and welcoming atmosphere of the Central Office environment.
Staff Culture & Events
Own birthday card coordination for Central Office staff (and all staff, as capacity allows).
Champion a fun, connected Central Office culture.
Oversee the assembly and mailing of Cookie Drops on behalf of the Online team.
Lead preparation logistics for All Staff days, LCBC U, and in-house team lunches- coordinating supplies, food, and setup.
Stay up to date on organizational key dates, events, and happenings.
Data & Systems Support
Develop proficiency in church management software to oversee and execute a variety of administrative tasks.
Own data cleanup projects as assigned, including overseeing duplicate profile merges and pulling attendance data as needed.
