Accountabilities

  • Lead the operational and financial performance of a multi-market regional portfolio, ensuring profitability, guest satisfaction, operational consistency, and partner success.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans that align strategic objectives with property-level execution while driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and long-term asset value.
  • Oversee, coach, and develop Area Directors, General Managers, and regional leadership teams, fostering accountability, high performance, and continuous professional development.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Revenue Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Guest Experience, Real Estate, and Product to implement scalable operational initiatives and commercial strategies.
  • Strengthen relationships with ownership groups and strategic partners by providing clear business updates, financial insights, and proactive performance management.
  • Establish operational frameworks, quality standards, and performance metrics that improve guest experiences, increase efficiency, optimize costs, and support sustainable portfolio growth.
  • Identify operational risks, implement process improvements, drive organizational transformation, and create scalable systems capable of supporting future expansion across multiple property types.
  • Requirements

    • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience within hotel operations, hospitality management, hotel asset management, or multi-site service organizations.
    • Previous General Manager experience with direct property-level P&L responsibility in a full-service or select-service hotel environment.
    • Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed teams across multiple locations while achieving operational, financial, and guest satisfaction objectives.
    • Strong expertise in hospitality operations, revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and financial performance analysis.
    • Deep understanding of hotel performance metrics, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue optimization, and operational quality standards.
    • Proven ability to build high-performing teams through effective hiring, coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
    • Experience managing relationships with property owners, investors, or institutional partners while communicating financial performance and strategic priorities.
    • Excellent executive communication, business planning, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex operational environments.
    • Strong commercial mindset with experience balancing guest experience, operational excellence, profitability, and long-term business growth.
    • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60% or more to support regional operations and provide visible leadership across multiple markets.
    • MBA or equivalent graduate education, experience in technology-enabled hospitality, and exposure to portfolio-level operations are considered valuable assets.
