AV Project Manager

This role sits at the center of delivering complex audiovisual and collaboration technology solutions for enterprise clients in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You will oversee end-to-end AV project execution, ensuring seamless delivery of integrated systems across global customer deployments. Acting as the primary coordinator between engineering teams, vendors, and clients, you will manage timelines, budgets, and technical requirements to ensure successful installations. The position requires strong technical understanding of AV systems combined with disciplined project management capabilities. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality delivery and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle. Working in a global technology environment, you will help translate client needs into scalable, reliable AV solutions. This is a hands-on role with high visibility, where execution quality directly impacts customer experience and operational success.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of audiovisual (AV) projects, including planning, execution, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while tracking progress against key milestones.
  • Oversee technical implementation of AV systems, ensuring alignment with design specifications and client requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear updates, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with technical standards, safety requirements, and organizational procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to optimize deployment processes and project efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement coordination, and equipment logistics to support project execution.
  • Provide post-installation support coordination and ensure successful handover to operations or support teams.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in AV project management, technical project delivery, or related IT/engineering fields.
    • Strong understanding of audiovisual systems, collaboration technologies, and enterprise AV infrastructure.
    • Proven experience managing complex, multi-site projects with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
    • Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
    • Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
    • Willingness to travel as required for project execution and client site coordination.
    • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
