Executive Assistant (Temp)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Executive Assistant contractor to provide maternity leave coverage for senior executive support within a dynamic leadership environment. This role will primarily support the CEO and CMCO (Chief Marketing & Communications Officer), with close partnership across our broader Executive Leadership Team, including the CPTO (Chief Product & Technology Officer) and CFGO (Chief Financial & Growth Officer).
The scope for this role spans executive support, cross-functional coordination, and leadership operations and planning. The position requires both tactical execution and the ability to operate in a highly trusted, fast-paced executive environment. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator and coordinator who thrives in high-visibility, fast-moving environments; exercises sound, independent judgment; anticipates needs; and seamlessly manages competing and evolving priorities across multiple executives and teams.
This role requires strategic prioritization and filtering of requests, optimization of executive time and attention, proactive problem-solving, strong responsiveness, and the ability to handle highly confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
This is a full-time, temporary contract role expected to last approximately six months.
Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience supporting senior executives or executive teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proven experience managing complex, dynamic calendars and navigating constantly shifting priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Ability to make thoughtful tradeoffs to optimize executive time and focus.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, track action items, and drive follow-through across multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for conveying information clearly and concisely and building strong relationships with senior leaders, external partners, and agencies.
Highly proactive and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, identify potential issues, and drive solutions with minimal direction.
Experience supporting executive meetings, leadership events, and external engagements, including preparation, logistics, and follow-up.
Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling highly confidential information.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration tools.
