Design Project Manager

Acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, you will build strong client relationships while coordinating engineers, architects, and technical specialists. Accountabilities:

  • Lead multidisciplinary design teams across electrical, mechanical, ICT, structural, architectural, and BIM/VDC disciplines on large-scale technical projects.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from proposal development and project kickoff through design completion and construction support.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, building trusted relationships and ensuring consistent communication throughout project execution.
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing, fee utilization, and change management.
  • Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, and coordination activities between internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards, client expectations, and industry best practices.
  • Support business development initiatives through proposals, project planning, fee estimates, and client presentations while mentoring team members and promoting collaboration.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
    • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience within engineering, architecture, or design consulting environments.
    • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams on mission-critical, data center, or similarly complex infrastructure projects.
    • Strong track record of managing project scope, schedules, budgets, client relationships, and construction support activities.
    • Solid understanding of mission-critical infrastructure, including electrical power systems, mechanical cooling and HVAC, ICT systems, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
    • Experience using project delivery and collaboration tools such as Revit, ACC/BIM 360, Revizto, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and similar platforms.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Authorization to work in the United States.
    • Preferred qualifications include experience with hyperscale or enterprise data centers, Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect credentials, PMP certification, BIM/VDC expertise, and experience managing multiple large-scale projects.
