Purpose:
The Change Management Manager plays a critical role in driving Finance Transformation programs forward as part of enterprise-wide culture and behavior change to enable sustainable adoption of new processes, ways of working, and operating models within AbbVie Finance. This role goes beyond project delivery to focus on embedding change into the organization’s DNA, ensuring that employees not only adopt new tools and processes, but also embrace the mindsets, behaviors, and cultural shifts required to sustain transformation.
The individual will lead the design and execution of integrated change strategies that influence leadership alignment, employee engagement, and process adoption, ultimately accelerating value realization and long-term organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Culture & Behavior Change Leadership
Lead Finance Transformation initiatives that drive mindset and behavior change, reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and adaptability
Partner with senior leaders to model and reinforce desired cultural attributes and ways of working
Work with SMEs to translate transformation objectives into clear behavioral expectations and adoption milestones
Process & Adoption Transformation
Drive end-to-end adoption of new processes and operating models, ensuring alignment across people, process, and technology
Identify and address barriers to adoption, focusing on sustainable behavior change vs. one-time implementation
Embed change into business routines, governance forums, and performance management where appropriate
Integrated Change Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute holistic change strategies that integrate communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and reinforcement mechanisms
Apply structured change management methodologies to support both large-scale transformations and targeted process improvements
Ensure alignment of change activities across cross-functional teams and initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Alignment
Build strong, trusted partnerships with senior leaders and project teams to drive alignment, sponsorship, and accountability
Conduct stakeholder and readiness assessments to inform targeted interventions
Act as a strategic advisor to leaders on navigating organizational change and resistance
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Define and track adoption, behavior change, and culture metrics to measure success
Leverage data and insights to continuously refine change strategies and improve outcomes
Capability Building & Enablement
Design and deliver training that supports not just knowledge transfer, but behavioral and mindset shifts
Coach managers and teams to effectively lead and sustain change
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience leading organizational change, culture transformation, or process adoption initiatives
Proven ability to drive behavior change and embed new ways of working in complex, cross-functional environments
Experience partnering with senior leadership to influence culture, alignment, and decision-making
Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP), with ability to apply them pragmatically
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
Experience designing and measuring adoption and culture-related success metrics
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Organizational Development, Education)

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
