Operations Team Leader MFC Spain

We're looking for a Store Manager to lead our Micro-Fulfillment Center (MFC) in Hospitalet (Barcelona) part of our quick-commerce vertical in Spain. 

 

About the role

You'll own end-to-end operations of the Hospitalet store — from warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy to team leadership and customer fulfillment quality. You'll report to the Area Manager and be a key part of a network of high-performing MFCs. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

  • Own and drive operational and delivery KPIs.
  • Hire & Train: Lead and develop a team of pickers and couriers (around 30 employees), fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Manage weekly scheduling and staffing to meet demand forecasts while controlling labor costs.
  • Coordinate with fleet operations to ensure smooth last-mile execution.
  • Escalate and follow up on facilities, HR, and supply issues with the relevant teams.
  • Work with a cross-functional team (Operations, Category Management, Health and Safety, Procurement…) to achieve quick and flawless execution.
  • Lead project implementation analysis and translate it into actionable tasks to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Report weekly to the Area Manager with data-driven analysis and action plans.

 

YOU HAVE:

 

 

  • Min of 3 + yr of experience in fast-paced environments (Logistics, operations, Supply, etc.).

 

  • Hands-on leadership style with ability to manage large teams and build high-trust.
  • Strong analytical mindset — comfortable reading KPI dashboards and translating data into action. 
  • You've got good judgment but own up to your mistakes.
  • You find smart and elegant solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary problems.
  • You're highly agile and thrive in ambiguous environments.
  • You are always respectful, kind, and fair. All of your reports speak highly of you as a manager and leader.
  • You have an ambition that makes some people think you're crazy while inspiring others.
  • You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action, are always pushing for things to happen, and are objective and deadline-oriented.
  • You’ve great communication skills, and ability to engage internal and external stakeholders. English communication is a must. 
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude.
  • Spanish required; high-level English strongly preferred.
