Sr. Manager, Resource Delivery Manager

Snowflake · US-IL-Chicago-MSO

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Job Summary

As the Sr. Manager of Resource Delivery, you will lead the Resource Delivery Management team for Service Delivery and set the strategy for scalable, AI-enabled fulfillment. You will define the roadmap for internal and external resource fulfillment, talent allocation, and automation, ensuring direct alignment to Snowflake’s annual revenue and delivery goals. In this role, you will elevate Resource Delivery from a transactional fulfillment function to a strategic advisory capability that uses automation, AI, and operational rigor to bring insight to action faster.

You will lead a team of Global Fulfillment Managers and leverage Snowflake technology and internal AI tools, including CoCo (Cortex Code), Raven, and emerging capabilities, to improve fulfillment speed, resource quality, and decision-making. We are looking for a leader who is comfortable with SQL and coding and who actively embraces Snowflake’s AI ecosystem to transform how fulfillment work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Define Strategy & Roadmap: Define the long-term roadmap for resource delivery, talent allocation, partner fulfillment, and automation, aligned to annual revenue and delivery goals.

  • Build Scalable Operating Models: Establish global policies, workflows, and systems that enable consistent, high-quality fulfillment and optimal use of internal and external resources.

  • Partner with Leadership: Work closely with senior leaders to shape coverage strategies, operating models, and investment decisions within budget.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as a key connector across Sales, Delivery, Finance, and BizOps to align resourcing decisions to business priorities.

2. Operational Performance

  • Own Business-Critical Metrics: Drive performance against key metrics including billable utilization, time to staff, and time to start.

  • Translate Signals into Action: Monitor fulfillment performance and resource trends, and turn insights into clear actions and recommendations for senior leadership.

3. AI, Capacity Planning & Technology

  • Lead Forward-Looking Capacity Planning: Partner with BizOps on scenario planning, demand forecasting, and workforce strategies that stay ahead of business needs.

  • Advance AI-Enabled Fulfillment: Champion the use of AI, automation, and advanced analytics across the fulfillment tech stack to accelerate decisions and reduce manual work.

  • Build an Insight-Led Function: Use Certinia PSA, Snowflake technology, and internal AI tools to improve forecasting, skill matching, staffing recommendations, and workflow automation.

  • Raise Technical Fluency: Build a team culture that is comfortable using SQL, systems, and AI tools to solve problems and scale decision-making.

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead a High-Performing Global Team: Lead and develop a global team of Global Resource Delivery Managers, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and elevating execution quality.

  • Coach for Strategic Impact: Develop team members into stronger strategic operators through coaching, feedback, and performance management.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years resource management experience in the software solutions industry.

  • 5+ years in a leadership role, with experience leading global or distributed teams.

  • Strategic & Operational Mix: Proven ability to manage day-to-day resource management (utilization, conflict resolution) while simultaneously driving long-term strategic initiatives (AI adoption, roadmap planning).

  • Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in resource management software, ERP systems, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, Workday).

  • Insight Acceleration: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply AI to accelerate insight generation and drive more informed business recommendations.

  • SQL Coding preferred.

Key Competencies:

  • Communication & Influence: Clear, concise communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.

  • Judgment & Execution: Exercises sound judgment and knows when to use diplomacy versus firmness to remove blockers, drive alignment, and deliver results.

  • Agility & Prioritization: Effectively manages competing priorities across teams, time zones, and deadlines, with strong focus and operational discipline.

  • Operational Insight: Uses data, systems, and AI-enabled insights to identify trends, improve decision-making, and drive better business outcomes.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience also considered.
