What We Need
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Program Manager to serve as a critical resource within the Medicare Stars team, executing on projects and overall Stars management. You will be responsible for working with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and delivery of our Stars strategy. This includes assisting with strategy development, monitoring performance, and coordinating and facilitating the execution of the strategy.
This position is eligible for the Flex persona.
Your Day-to-Day
- Partner with the Associate Director of Medicare Stars to facilitate planning sessions and track programs to achieve high Medicare Stars measurement.
- Coordinate and facilitate the execution of the Stars strategy.
- Support the development of the Stars capability roadmap (including vendor selection and in-house builds).
- Coordinate with necessary stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of capabilities.
We're Looking For
- The ability to ensure stakeholders are actively engaged and aligned across Stars.
- Skills to lead Stars workgroups and sub-forums as needed.
- The ability to maintain central oversight of initiative progress and measure performance across all measure owners and workgroups.
- Coordination with Stars analytics resources to identify measures lagging expected performance; removing barriers and escalating issues as needed.
- The ability to align materials from Stars measure owners/executors and support Stars leadership in strategy and material preparation for leadership forums.
- The ability to manage portfolio initiatives requiring close collaboration with technical and operational leads, as well as vendor partners.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation delivery skills to both large and small audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership and staff at all levels of the organization.
- Strong team building, presentation, consensus-building, influencing, and negotiating skills.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in project/program management in a health plan environment required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proven track record of delivering highly complex initiatives in a dynamic environment.
- Strategic, long-range planning skills and the ability to integrate strategy with short-term activity and translate it into operational plans.
- Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization and with key constituents.
- Experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams and matrixed relationships.
- Highly adaptable and creative with an openness to assuming new roles and responsibilities as they arise.
- Experience with facilitating Medicare Stars improvement efforts is strongly encouraged.

Full timeSalary Range: $126,250.00 - $156,970.00The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
