Northrop Grumman is seeking Configuration Analysts. This position will be located on-site at our Aeronautics Systems Sector Melbourne, FL location. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Systems Engineering organization.

Example job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform Contract and Supplier Data Requirements activities to include planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of contractual documentation.

  • Review documentation for CDRL-DD-Form 1423 requirements when processing through the change board.

  • Create Supplier Requirements Documents (SRD) from Supplier Statement of Work, champion through change board for approval.

  • Support Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, update slides with contractual CDRLs/SDRLs due.

  • Generate weekly CDRL/SDRL reports for IPT support.

  • Facilitate change boards including Configuration Control and Technical Review Boards

  • Administer change processes ensuring changes are documented in accordance with program requirements.

  • Manage and document change package lifecycle from initiation to closure of the packages, verify the implementation is complete and records are updated

  • Support program configuration and data management requirements.

  • Administer Configuration audit activities for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support the development and maintenance of Configuration Management and Data Management tools.

  • Perform Configuration Status Accounting and Metrics generation on data management activities.

This position may be filled as either an Associate Configuration Analyst or Configuration Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Configuration Analyst:

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Be majoring in or having majored in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or other related field

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • An interim U.S. Government Secret clearance is required to start.

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Experience using Microsoft collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret clearance

  • Excellent organizational skills, to include the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

  • Understanding of configuration management principles

  • Familiarity with EIA-649-1, MIL-HDBK-61, or GEIA-859

Salary Range:

  • Associate Configuration Analyst: $54,400 - $81,600/year

  • Engineer Software Quality: $65,500 - $98,300/year
