SAP Delivery Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SAP Delivery Manager based in India.

This role is a key leadership position responsible for driving end-to-end SAP project delivery across complex implementation, rollout, and support environments. You will oversee the successful execution of SAP programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role requires strong expertise across core SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams. You will act as a critical bridge between business users, technical teams, and clients, ensuring smooth translation of requirements into effective SAP solutions. This is a high-impact role where you will influence delivery strategy, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. You will operate in a fast-paced environment that demands strong governance, structured execution, and proactive risk management. The position is ideal for a delivery leader who thrives in complex, client-facing SAP transformation programs.

• Lead end-to-end SAP project delivery including implementation, rollout, migration, enhancements, and production support engagements.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and defined quality standards while maintaining strong governance practices.
• Manage project planning, tracking, risk identification, and mitigation to ensure successful execution across all phases.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions across SD, MM, and FI modules.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional SAP teams, ensuring effective resource allocation, mentoring, and performance management.
• Oversee solution design, functional specifications, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (SAP certifications are a plus).
• 10+ years of experience in SAP project delivery and delivery management roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP SD, SAP MM, and SAP FI modules.
• Proven track record of managing full lifecycle SAP implementation and support projects.
• Strong client-facing experience with excellent stakeholder, vendor, and relationship management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional SAP teams in complex, global or multi-project environments.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive reporting skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
