The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure accurate, efficient medication services. This role plays an important part in maintaining medication inventory, preparing prescriptions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to promote safe and effective pharmaceutical care.

  • Support prescription processing, including entering physician orders and preparing medications for pharmacist review 
  •  Assist with medication dispensing and packaging 
  •  Maintain accurate inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies 
  •  Support controlled substance tracking, audits, and compliance activities 
  •  Transport medications and pharmacy supplies to partner locations as needed 
  •  Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated service delivery 
  •  Assist with billing records, reporting, and general documentation 
  •  Contribute to quality improvement initiatives 
  •  Support onboarding and training of new team members 
  •  Perform other duties as assigned
High School/GED preferred

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  •  At least one (1) year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred 
  •  Must have CALM protect training either upon hire or within 30 days of hire 
  •  A valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required 
QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
  •  A valid, unencumbered State Pharmacy Technician Registration required
