Growth Product Manager, Customer Acquisition

Frec · San Francisco

About Frec

Our mission is to help create enduring wealth. To do this, we don't promise shortcuts or magic strategies. We respect the realities of investing as it actually works, and challenge the long-standing assumption that returns and taxes belong in separate conversations. By building tax-aware investment tools once reserved for the ultra-wealthy, Frec empowers investors to hold onto more of what they earn.

In the last year, Frec has been growing exponentially – 50% QoQ growth with over $1B+ in customer assets. We raised our Series A with Greylock Partners and have an impressive list of other funds and angel investors backing our company. If you’re looking to join a fast-growing team with high potential, Frec could be the place for you. Learn more about Frec as a company at www.frec.com.

About the role

We’re hiring a Growth PM to help fuel Frec’s next stage of growth by increasing qualified top-of-funnel demand and improving the path from achieving awareness of Frec to funded account.

You’ll work across channels, landing pages, referral loops, creator partnerships, paid communities, employer programs, and other growth surfaces to reach more high intent, high-net-worth investors.

You should be analytical, creative, scrappy and deeply curious about the product. You’ll need to understand how Frec works, why sophisticated investors choose us, and what channels, messages, offers and experiences help customers take the first few steps. Growth here requires strong product understanding, clear communication, thoughtful education and disciplined experimentation.

You’ll partner closely with the Head of Growth, and work cross functionally with the founder, marketing, design, sales, compliance and engineering. You’ll own projects end to end, move quickly, use AI tools to increase your output, and build repeatable systems for testing, learning and scaling.

What you will do

  • Own acquisition-focused growth experiments across channels and growth surfaces, including referral programs, paid search, influencers, communities, brand activations and other high-intent acquisition channels

  • Identify new channels through customer insights and channel research

  • Build and improve acquisitions assets such as landing pages, referral flows, and ad angles

  • Analyze performance across the full funnel, including traffic, leads, qualified leads, approved accounts, funded accounts, CAC, payback period, AUM, and customer quality

What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in growth, product, marketing, analytics or another highly-cross functional role

  • Experience and a genuine interest in fintech, investing, wealth management, consumer finance, or another high-trust regulated category

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with funnel metrics, CAC, conversion rates, payback periods, and campaign performance data

  • Strong creative judgment and the ability to turn customer pain points into compelling campaign ideas, landing pages, referral loops, etc

  • Comfort operating in an early stage startup environment where priorities move quickly and ownership matters

  • High attention to detail and strong judgement around trust, claims, compliance and customer experience

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to high-income or high-net-worth consumers

  • Experience building or scaling a product, app, community, newsletter, or other program from zero

  • Hands on with modern analytics and lifecycle stack: Hubspot, Amplitude, GA4, and server-side conversion tracking

  • Comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or a BI tool like Hex so you can answer your own questions

  • Experience partnering closely with a compliance team and comfortable with FINRA and SEC rules

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation ($150k-$200k)

  • Equity grant

  • Fully paid health and dental insurance

  • 401k

  • Monthly allowance to help with maintaining a healthy body and mind, including fitness and mental health

  • Flexible PTO policy

  • Friendly office environment with catered lunch every day
