Senior Product Manager-Technical, Amazon Business

We are seeking a senior, high judgement product leader to join our Amazon Business team in Luxembourg to build and lead our Know Your Customer Program. This is a highly visible, critical and urgent role for the business and we are seeking L7s with existing knowledge/experience in the space and readiness to dive straight into program execution.

Key job responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
• Define and execute the product roadmap for KYC verification processes, ensuring alignment with EU regulatory requirements
• Design and implement automated KYC workflows that reduce friction while maintaining compliance standards
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams to build scalable verification solutions
• Drive innovation in identity verification and customer onboarding processes
Compliance & Risk Management
• Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all KYC processes meet EU regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Monitor regulatory changes across EU member states and adapt product strategy accordingly
• Develop risk-based approaches to customer verification that balance compliance obligations with business needs
• Establish and maintain KYC policies, procedures, and documentation
Customer Experience & Operations
• Optimize onboarding conversion rates while maintaining compliance standards
• Analyze customer feedback and operational metrics to identify pain points and improvement opportunities
• Work with Customer Success and Operations teams to resolve escalations and improve processes
• Design solutions that accommodate diverse B2B customer types (SMEs, enterprises, partnerships, marketplaces)
Analytics & Reporting
• Define and track key performance indicators including verification success rates, processing times, and false positive rates
• Build reporting frameworks for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
