Role Overview
As defined by Scrum, the Product Owner is accountable for maximising the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team.
You will be responsible for managing a set of features or project initiatives, owning the product roadmap, and ensuring successful delivery to users. The r2c platform includes a core product with optional modules, country-specific variants, bulk data interfaces, and real-time integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
Define and clearly communicate the Product Goal
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritised, refined, and aligned with business objectives
Ensure the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by all stakeholders
Maintain a deep understanding of all system features
Stay informed on market trends and future product requirements
Delivery & Development
Collaborate with Development and QA teams to support product delivery
Initiate and coordinate product development activities
Manage change requests and ensure controlled implementation
Participate in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups)
Contribute to the platform development lifecycle
Release Management
Manage product releases, including documentation and version control
Approve releases and ensure quality standards are met
Communicate releases internally and externally before and at launch
Stakeholder Engagement
Provide product expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure relevant teams are trained and informed on product features (existing and upcoming)
Collaborate across teams including:
Software Development
QA
Product Support
Network Support
Project Management
Account Management
Business Development
Marketing
Senior Product Leadership
External Relationships
Manage relationships with external partners, including:
Operators
Workshops
Repair Agents
Manufacturers
R&M providers
Third-party partners
Key Working Relationships

Qualifications & Skills
4+ years’ experience as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager
Experience in service, maintenance, tyres, or repair industries (desirable, not essential)
Knowledge of the HGV industry (preferred, not required)
Strong IT literacy (Microsoft tools, video conferencing, product management tools)
Creative thinking with a focus on platform design
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confident presenting to groups
Strong team player with a reliable and proactive approach
Special Requirements
Full UK driving licence (national travel required)
