We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As the XR Audio Product Manager (PM), you will lead the goal, strategy, and execution of immersive audio and soundscape experiences across Google's next-generation XR devices. You will define how users hear, speak, and interact with their environment through high-fidelity spatial audio, advanced voice capture, and intelligent acoustic context.
This role is part of the XR Platform team responsible for building the core platform services and experiences that define why users put on an XR device everyday, enable users to get value from XR devices, and shape the next generation immersive computing platform for Google.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management, working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and UX/UI stakeholders.
- 5 years of experience taking technical consumer products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
- 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary product roadmaps in partnership with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, policy, trust and safety) to deliver high-stakes safety or privacy features.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in wearable audio systems design, tuning and validation, including power and thermal considerations for micro-acoustics.
- Experience with media processing, microphone processing, psychoacoustic processing, filter design, audio and system tuning.
- Experience in microphone beamforming and adaptive noise cancelling preferred.
- Experienced in the new audio technology system integration.
- Experience in objective and subjective audio quality assessment and critical listening skills.
