Product Manager II - Microsoft Foundry

Responsibilities

 Join the Microsoft Foundry team as we redefine the build, deploy, operate loop for generative AI development and accelerate the next wave of innovation. We are building the industry’s leading model serving platform, empowering customer applications and agents with unmatched reliability, performance, and flexibility. 
 

We are looking to hire a Product Manager to join our group and help us lead the next generation of models offerings. As Product Manager II, you will lead efforts to scale specific offerings. 

    

Responsibilities  

  • Develop the product offerings that span across the model portfolio in Foundry. 

  • Identify high-impact opportunities to increase internal team velocity and adoption 

  • Define and track growth metrics, manage dependencies, and lead experimentation to validate Foundry Models value proposition.  

  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and multiple internal products  

  • Develop compelling product narratives and performance dashboards for executive-level communication and decision-making.  

  • Provide clarity in ambiguous environments, influence stakeholders, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.  



Qualifications

Required Qualifications   

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development 
    • OR equivalent experience.  

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications   

  • 2+ years of experience in product development. Including delivering one or more AI, cloud services, enterprise grade solutions, and mobile apps.   
  • Proven success in launching and scaling multi-million dollar revenue products, ideally in AI, ML, or platform domains.  
  • Strong background in enterprise compliance requirements. 
  • Product led growth focus with data-driven decision-making skills.  
  • Excellent executive presence and stakeholder management capabilities.  
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex dependencies.  
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with a bias for action. 


Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
