Job Description
Pismo is Visa’s next-generation core banking and processing platform, delivering innovative card issuing, account management, and payments capabilities globally. As Pismo expands across Europe, this Manager role plays a critical part in supporting the Go‑To‑Market (GTM) execution, operationalizing strategy, and ensuring rigorous delivery of market analysis, processes, and cross‑functional coordination.
This role sits within Visa’s EU Issuing Solutions — a high‑growth unit within Value Added Services (VAS) — supporting product commercialization, ecosystem integration, and customer‑focused growth initiatives. The Manager will work closely with the Director and wider regional teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives, accurate analysis, and consistent operational governance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Support, Market Analysis & Execution
- Conduct detailed market, regulatory, and competitive analyses to inform prioritization for Pismo’s European expansion across issuing, core banking, and processing.
- Develop structured market assessment materials, segmentation profiles, and entry-readiness checklists to support decision‑making.
- Translate strategic direction from senior leadership into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support strategic deal activity by providing research, solution positioning materials, and coordination across product, commercial, and technical teams.
- Build and maintain business case inputs including data gathering, financial modelling support, and drafting early-stage commercial narratives.
2. Ecosystem Enablement & Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Support identification of opportunities to connect Pismo with Visa’s broader product ecosystem (Risk & Identity, Loyalty, Data, Digital Enablement, Network Products, Consulting).
- Coordinate workshops, discovery sessions, and partner discussions to ensure progress on ecosystem integrations and bundled propositions.
- Maintain tracking of ecosystem partnership activities, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
- Collaborate with regional clusters, partnership managers, and external partners to ensure timely follow‑through on GTM activities.
3. Planning, Governance & Commercial Operations
- Support annual and quarterly planning cycles through data collection, scenario analysis preparation, and consolidation of inputs for Pismo’s regional plan.
- Manage governance routines — including scheduling, agenda preparation, action tracking, and follow‑up for steercos and working groups.
- Assist in shaping pricing frameworks and commercial models by collecting benchmarks, preparing pricing comparisons, and maintaining documentation.
- Monitor market signals, sales pipeline activity, and deal performance to produce regular reporting that informs leadership decisions.
- Ensure GTM workflows, templates, and operating procedures are consistently followed and updated.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in strategy, GTM, product operations, business analysis, or commercial execution within payments, fintech, core banking, or related technology sectors.
- Experience supporting GTM delivery for SaaS, platform, or B2B technology solutions.
- Deep analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with comfort compiling research, interpreting trends, and producing structured insights.
- Excellent communication skills — able to synthesise complex topics into concise materials for stakeholders across product, sales, and technology teams.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in matrixed, cross‑functional environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with a track record of owning processes, managing timelines, and driving deliverables to completion.
- Working knowledge of commercial concepts such as market sizing, benchmarking, pricing inputs, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with Visa’s product ecosystem, issuing value chain, and VAS portfolio.
- Understanding of issuer processing, core banking platforms, or European payments regulations.
- Experience supporting multi‑country product or platform rollouts.
- Exposure to partnerships, integrations, or product ecosystem enablement.
- Experience with governance processes, PMO-style work, or structured operational frameworks.
