Tech Product Owner (R-19385)
The Technical Product Owner serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, owning the definition, prioritisation, and delivery of technically complex initiatives.
This role focuses on AI enabled platforms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and secure enterprise systems, translating business goals into clear, actionable product requirements and ensuring high quality delivery through agile practices.
The TPO works closely with product leadership, engineering, architecture, security, and platform teams to drive delivery across AI use cases, data platforms, cloud environments, and application ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and technical requirements across AI, platform, and cloud‑based initiatives.

Translate stakeholder and customer needs into well‑defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised backlog items.

Own and manage the product backlog in Jira, ensuring stories are technically clear, groomed, and delivery‑ready.

Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the sprint lifecycle—from refinement and planning through delivery and review.

Support and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Engage in technical discussions to support story refinement, dependency management, issue triage, and delivery decisions.

Collaborate with platform, cloud, DevOps, and security teams to ensure solutions meet scalability, reliability, and security standards.

Support delivery of AI‑driven capabilities, including data access, model integration, observability, and governance considerations.

Continuously adapt to new platforms, tools, and technical domains, driving ongoing improvement in delivery and product clarity.
Essential Skills or/and Certifications:

Hands‑on experience working in Agile environments, with practical exposure to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery workflows.

Ability to balance business priorities with technical feasibility and delivery constraints.

Proven experience using Jira for backlog management, requirement tracking, and delivery coordination.

Strong capability in writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing dependencies.

Prior experience in roles such as Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery‑focused positions.

Experience working in technology‑driven, engineering‑led environments.

Comfort operating across system‑centric, platform, and infrastructure contexts rather than purely functional domains.

Ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into structured, actionable technical requirements.

Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Willingness to learn and engage with new technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.

Openness to working across AI, data, cloud, and infrastructure‑heavy use cases.

Experience working on or supporting AI‑enabled products, data platforms, or intelligent systems.

Familiarity with concepts such as data pipelines, model integration, AI governance, or observability is an advantage.

Understanding of cloud concepts such as environments, deployments, networking, and infrastructure‑as‑code.

Exposure to GCP, AWS, or Azure; GCP experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Harness or similar tools) and modern delivery practices.

Ability to work with engineering teams to align delivery processes with product goals.

Basic understanding of application security, access control, data protection, and governance considerations.

Ability to incorporate security and compliance requirements into product and platform stories.

Previous exposure to product ownership, platform products, or internal developer platforms is a strong advantage.
