Your job:
We’re looking for our next Director of Loan Closing and Execution to join our growing Real Estate / Global Credit team in London!
This is a key role at the heart of our investment process, where you will lead the legal, due diligence, and closing execution across a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate credit investments.
Among your responsibilities will be:
Lead and manage the documentation, closing, and syndication of commercial real estate loans
Partner closely with external counsel, ensuring all loan documents align with internal policies and credit standards
Oversee and coordinate due diligence (legal, environmental, engineering, and third-party reports)
Identify, assess, and resolve transaction risks and structuring issues alongside originations, portfolio management, and advisors
Drive transaction execution through structured status calls, checklists, and stakeholder coordination
Represent execution in investment committee discussions, providi insights and recommendations
Ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements throughout the transaction lifecycle
Manage funding and closing processes, including coordination with clients and title companies
Stay involved post-closing, supporting loan modifications, restructurings, and workouts
What you can bring:
Degree in Law, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
Advanced qualifications such as LLM, JD, or MBA are a plus
Strong experience in loan origination, execution, and capital markets, ideally within real estate credit
Deep understanding of commercial mortgage lending, documentation, and due diligence processes
Ability to independently assess risk and drive solutions in complex transactions
Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Proven experience working with external counsel and cross-functional teams
Multilingual skills are advantageous
