As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a key role in the end-to-end documentation and funding process for equipment finance transactions. You’ll gain exposure to a diverse range of industries and equipment types while working in a structured, process-driven environment with clear workflows and accountability. This role offers a balance of independent work and collaboration with cross-functional partners, providing visibility across the broader financing process.
 

This position is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process incoming document requests from internal partners for equipment finance transactions
  • Analyze supporting documentation, including:
    • Invoices
    • Bills of sale
    • Sales orders
    • Wire instructions
  • Validate transaction details and ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation
  • Perform vendor callbacks to verify payment and wire instructions
  • Prepare and generate finance documents for internal review and customer execution
  • Coordinate with sales, credit, and operations partners to resolve discrepancies or missing information
  • Manage work within a queue-based environment, prioritizing tasks to meet established service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Support the transition of completed deals to the funding process, ensuring all documentation meets requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in multiple systems of record
     

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to six years of experience in leasing or other financial operations activities
     

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of products, terminology, closing policies and procedures, funding policies, underwriting requirements, legal documents, and systems related to assigned area of leasing operations
  • Knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes for assigned product(s), as well as applicable laws and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and applications efficiently
  • Proven commitment to quality customer service and ability to work well with customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and validate complex documentation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complex documentation needs

Location expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week. This position is located in Gresham, OR; Columbia Center.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $24.18 - $32.21
