Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate testing effectiveness, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of the software products.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to foster professional growth and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support junior professionals by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Quality Management (QM).
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and software testing methodologies.
- Experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies.
- Ability to define and track key quality metrics to assess testing progress and outcomes.
- Skilled in managing defect lifecycle and coordinating resolution efforts.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques for test execution and quality process automation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Quality Management (QM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
