Quality Auditor (M/F/D) - Night Shift

Responsibilities: 

• Approve first and last parts produced according to product quality specifications to assure good parts produced 

• Ensure the collection of samples to be analyzed by the laboratory in accordance with the control plan, to guarantee product quality and process stability. 

• Quality first point of contact to Evaluate and decide the doubts that arise in the production process, in line with quality requirements 

• Analyze the parts that do not meet quality standards on the first attempt (FTQ) and decide whether they can be reintroduced into the production line, scrapped, reworked, or analyzed in the laboratory. 

• Responsible for opening quality alerts and ensuring an effective containment 

• Engage supplier quality team to proceed with the incoming inspection, when defect found on raw materials in accordance with internal procedures 

• Prepare daily shift-over-handover reports with information regarding quality issues. 

• Responsible for the physical and system blocking of suspect parts to ensure they do not reach the customer. 

• Execute control by sampling in production lines according to control plan 

• Ensure the production of PPAP parts and delivery to the laboratory for testing in accordance with the control plan. 

• Ensure the existence and functionality of Master parts in the line- managing them with the laboratory (record and obsolete) 

• Perform 5S and LPAs Audits 

• Ensure consistency in the multi-skilling matrix according to the operators' validation for the position and alert production team. 

• Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards. 

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety at work standards, policies and practices in accordance with their level of responsibility. 

• Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule

• Perform other duties and tasks on assigned special projects and assignments not included in the activity for which was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service. 

Requirements & Competencies 

Academic Background 

• Secondary education in a related technical area 

Professional Experience (Years and area) 

• 1 to 3 years of experience in quality auditing, preferably within the automotive industry. 

Hard Skills  

• Familiarity with industry standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001) (preferred) 

• Good computer skills 

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawing  

• Knowledge in solving industrial problems - 8D Methodology and 5Whys (is a plus) 

• Experience using measurement instruments (steel ruler, caliper (inside and outside), micrometer, comparators, multimeter, screw thread micrometer, feeler gauge) and conducting inspections  

• Fluent in Portuguese
