Job Summary
Responsible for validating product quality by analyzing and testing the quality of the code base. Focuses on writing code that will be executed in an automated and repeatable fashion which will reduce manual testing efforts and increase code quality and consistency. Develops and maintains code that validates front-end, middleware and database systems, using the latest tools and programming languages. Partners with software engineers to write efficient automation code using coding standards and best practices. Works with engineering team to deliver automated tests that satisfy product automation requirements. Executes automated code and creates written summary test reports for team. Repair intermediate complexity broken automation scripts. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
Job Description
Core responsibilities
- Design and execute Wi-Fi test strategies for performance, stability, and scalability
- Build and manage Wi-Fi test beds for functional and performance testing
- Conduct throughput, latency, and performance benchmarking
- Validate Wi-Fi security features including WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X
- Identify issues, debug failures, and collaborate with development teams for fixes
- Maintain lab and setting up of testing environments.
- Document test results, defects, and performance insights clearly
Job Skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of core networking principles
- Basic knowledge of DOCSIS plant operations
- WLAN protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) – Beginner to Intermediate
- Hands-on experience with packet capture and analysis using sniffers
- Good Linux knowledge with basic scripting or coding skills
- Exposure to real-world deployment scenarios is a plus
- Experience using test tools like Ixia, spectrum analyzers, and attenuators is a plus
- CWNA, CCNA Wireless or equivalent certification is a plus
