This role sits at the heart of a fast-paced product and engineering environment where quality, reliability, and user experience are critical to delivering seamless digital healthcare services. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of web and mobile applications used by thousands of customers and veterinary professionals. Working closely with product managers, developers, and support teams, you will help define testing strategies, identify issues early, and continuously improve product quality. The environment is highly collaborative and agile, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and operational excellence. You will also play a key role in supporting production systems and improving cross-functional workflows. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will ensure end-to-end product quality across multiple platforms and systems:
- Collaborate with engineering, product, customer support, and data teams to ensure alignment on quality expectations and release readiness
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide clear and actionable feedback
- Design, estimate, prioritize, and execute comprehensive test plans across web, mobile, API, and backend systems
- Conduct manual, API, and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and verification through regression testing
- Support production releases and coordinate testing during deployment cycles
- Provide production support to customer-facing teams and help troubleshoot live issues
- Continuously improve QA processes by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation
Requirements
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and experienced in modern QA practices:
- 3+ years of experience in a QA engineering or software testing role
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman or equivalent)
- Familiarity with manual, regression, and cross-platform testing (web, mobile, and browsers)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience writing clear, structured test plans and test cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with AI-assisted QA tools is an asset
- Exposure to SQL/PostgreSQL and scripting is considered a plus
- Experience with performance or security testing is an advanta.
