As a Cook at Jia, you will bring skill and speed to one of the most dynamic kitchens on property. From intricately plated dishes to fast-paced service, your role helps bring the menu to life. This is a high-volume, high-standard kitchen where every plate tells a story. THE STARTING RATE: $18.95 an hour

THE SCHEDULE:

• Swing Shift | Full Time

• 1:00pm (earliest) - 11:00pm (latest)

• Scheduled in 8-hour shifts between the above-listed time frame

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Show your culinary passion by crafting various menu items while following set recipes and standards.

• Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation of back-of-house areas.

• Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling procedures.

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of fine dining culinary techniques

• Practice seafood handling skills and shuck oysters as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Meets the minimum age requirement of 18+ years of age

• Exhibits 2+ years of culinary experience in a line cook setting preferably

• Demonstrates experience on fry, sauté, grill, and other stations around the kitchen
