THE JOB:

Step into the spotlight as a Cook at Best Friend at Park MGM, where you'll unleash your culinary mastery to create mouthwatering dishes inspired by Chef Roy Choi’s blend of Korean and American flavors! Our vibrant and welcoming restaurant celebrates the joys of sharing food with friends and family, and your culinary skills will play a vital role in crafting unforgettable dining experiences. Your infectious smile and outstanding service will elevate the dining experience, forging meaningful connections as you embrace each guest’s unique story.

THE STARTING RATE:  26.6044 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques

• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment

• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service

• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation

• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation

• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service

• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups

• Work as a team, assist all guests' needs and inquiries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Cook preferred

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a similar resort setting

• Formal Culinary training preferred
