Position Summary
The Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while delivering exceptional service standards that reflect the JW Marriott brand.
Essential Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, walls, and floors
- Make beds and replace linens as needed
- Dust furniture, fixtures, shelves, and other room surfaces
- Vacuum guest rooms and remove trash
- Restock guest amenities, towels, linens, and supplies
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to established procedures
- Transport and restock housekeeping carts
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive team environment
- Maintain attendance and scheduling requirements
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces throughout the shift
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset and passion for hospitality
