Senior Sales Engineer (m/f/*)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Senior Sales Engineer for the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division at 3M Belgium, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Managing your own sales region by calling on new and existing customers.
  • Managing the daily list of new customer inquiries and leads within your region.
  • Enlarging the account focus on defined number of large end-user accounts
  • Increasing your opportunity pipeline with profitable projects
  • Realizing the sales targets for the Industrial Adhesive and Tapes business
  • Collaborate with supporting teams (Marketing, Application Engineering, and Channel Management) on major opportunities to increase win rates, optimize customer offerings for competitive advantage, and coordinate across converter and distribution channels.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Advanced Skills in relevant markets, former positions e. g. 
  • You have solid experience in a sales position
  • Strong account and project planning skills.
  • You speak fluent Dutch, English & French.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • You have a technical background or are highly interested in product/process engineering
  • Excellent PC and CRM skills (Office 365, Salesforce)
  • Prioritization & Communication Skills.
