We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you will develop innovative solutions to the business problems faced by GCS advertisers. The gTech Ads Solutions team takes a creative, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to provide consulting and solutions to advertisers. Within gTech Ads Solutions, the Ads Solutions Engineering (ASE) team leverages technology to build and scale advertising solutions to customers/agencies across industries and segments.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
- Experience with Generative AI tools and platforms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related technical field.
- Experience working with ad technical products (e.g., Ad Server, Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and Web Analytics) with an understanding of engineering solutions built for scale.
- Experience working in the ad space - first party data on-boarding and activation, measurement and data modeling, video and search advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
- Excellent project management, people management and leadership skills with the ability to formulate data-driven proposals.
